Tournament Details

When: Tuesday 24th June
Time: 9:30 am – 2:30 pm
Where: Granville Oval, Montrose Avenue Merrylands
Who: Schoolgirl competitions for: U18’s (Born 1996 & 1997) and U16’s (Born 1998 & 1999)
          Schoolboy Competitions for: U17’s (Born 1997 & 1998) and U15’s (Born 1999 & 2000)
Other: Minimum of 10 players and maximum of 12 players per team – There must be a minimum of 8 Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander players in each team.
In addition to the on field activities, there will be education, employment, health and Indigenous specific organizations who will have stalls set up around the oval and promoting their services along with publicizing opportunities for students to be involved in their work. Also in attendance on the day will be players from the New South Wales Waratahs and the National Men’s and Women’s 7’s teams.

NSWRU are offering specialized coaching for any team who enters the tournament and wishes to undertake training that will help them prepare for the tournament. Teams which enter into the tournament will also receive a Rugby Pack as a gift for entering the event. Each student that participates in the event will receive a ticket to the Waratahs vs Brumbies Super Rugby game on Saturday 28th June at ANZ Stadium.
