Shute Shield side, Southern Districts, will this weekend hold a “Family Fun Day” at Forshaw Rugby Park (Saturday, May 14) between 1-3pm. The Rebels, who hail from the Sutherland Shire, will face-off against reigning Shute Shield champions Sydney University in the Saturday afternoon clash.
With stars of tomorrow filtered throughout both Starting XV's, including the return of NSW Waratahs flyhalf Daniel Halangahu for the Students.
Kids have free entry into the game, with an unlimited rides ticket for just $10. Ride tickets can be purchased on the day around the ground.
The Southern Districts Juniors together with the Senior Club have combined forces to organise the Family Fun Day! This is a great chance for the kids to enjoy some rides and also watch some top quality players in a vital match for both sides.
All Southern District Junior Representatives will be congratulated at half time with a lap of honour and uniform presentation.

The IRB has announced its match officials list for the second stage of the 2014 IRB Junior World Championships overnight, with two Australians appointed to referee two of the games in New Zealand on Sunday.
We’re excited to announce that Australian Rugby will be moving to a new online system for national competition management and participant registration for the 2014 Rugby Sevens season and the 2015 club Rugby season.
We’re set for an exciting year with plenty to look forward to in 2014, including our Qantas Men’s Sevens team competing in the Commonwealth Games (July), the Women’s Rugby World Cup in France (August) and the launch of a new domestic competition – the National Rugby Championship (August).
