There are seven different Camp Waratah locations. The Camp is a non-residential camp held at:
Metro Camp Waratah One
Location: Newington College, Stanmore Road, Stanmore
Dates: Monday 11 and Tuesday 12th July
Metro Camp Waratah Two
Location: Riverview College, Tambourine Bay Road, Lane Cove
Dates: Thursday 14th and Friday 15th July
Central Coast Camp
Location: Central Coast Grammar School, Carlton Road, Erina
Date: Wednesday 13th July
Location: University of Wollongong, URAC Sportshub, Northfields Avenue, Keiraville

Aim: To improve individual skills to participate in Rugby and prepare players of all abilities for the current Rugby season
Age Group: 8-12 years old boys and girls
Duration: 9.00am – 3.00pm
Skills required: new and current Rugby players of all ability
Skills covered: The on-field sessions will cover the key skills area of catch and pass, evasion, contact tackle, ruck and maul, set plays and physical preparation for Rugby. The program will be fun and rewarding with a commitment to quality coaching outcomes
Cost: One Day Camp - $80.00
Two Day Camp - $150.00
(Each participant at every camp will receive a Gilbert Rugby ball, a backpack and a water bottle).
Each camp will be run and coached by ARU Development staff. Each camp will include a guest appearance from a HSBC Waratah Player.
The 2011 “Be a HSBC Waratah for a Day or Two” is a high performance camp which is being held during the second week of the school holidays.
The aim of this camp is to allow the participants to experience what the ‘HSBC Waratahs’ experience throughout their Rugby season. The camp also aims to improve individual skills to participate in Rugby and prepare players for the current Rugby season. This camp is designed for older players of high abilities.
Cost: $220 (each participant will receive a HSBC Waratahs training singlet, shorts and cap). Note please refer to the ARU Community Rugby activities terms and conditions before booking.
Age Group: U13/U14 and U15/U16 years old (limited availability – 60 per age band)
Date: Thursday 14th July and Friday 15th July, 2011
Duration: 9:00am – 3:00pm
Skills required: Current Rugby players and athletes with previous experience in body contact sports of high ability (players should be preferably of representative and ‘A’ team standard at club and/or school)
Skills covered: The sessions will cover both on and off field activities.
Off field activities include:
· Strength and Conditioning
· Wellbeing and Nutrition
· Game Planning
On field activities include 7-a-side games in the two bracketed age groups (U13/U14 and U15/U16)
All sessions will be taken by the HSBC Waratahs High Performance Staff.
The “Be a HSBC Waratah for a Day or Two” camp will be run and coached by the HSBC Waratahs High Performance Staff and current players.

The IRB has announced its match officials list for the second stage of the 2014 IRB Junior World Championships overnight, with two Australians appointed to referee two of the games in New Zealand on Sunday.
We’re excited to announce that Australian Rugby will be moving to a new online system for national competition management and participant registration for the 2014 Rugby Sevens season and the 2015 club Rugby season.
We’re set for an exciting year with plenty to look forward to in 2014, including our Qantas Men’s Sevens team competing in the Commonwealth Games (July), the Women’s Rugby World Cup in France (August) and the launch of a new domestic competition – the National Rugby Championship (August).
