Terms and Conditions
the following terms and conditions apply to the sale of 2008 Qantas Wallabies Spring Tour match tickets.
1. The ARU undertakes to take all reasonable steps to provide tickets as allocated to each applicant, however the ARU, nor its officers or agents, will be held responsible in any event, including the Host Unions' failure to provide tickets as expected, tickets misplaced in transit, or the cancellation of the game.
2. ARU will take every precaution to ensure that scalping of tickets does not occur. If any evidence emerges that applicants intend to use tickets in this way, or misuse them in any other way, their full allocation will be immediately cancelled and no refunds given.
3. The ARU reserves the right to cancel any ticket allocation should any doubt exist as to the applicant details at the ARU's complete discretion.
4. The ARU have added a handling fee to the face value of each ticket. This fee covers the cost of making this facility available (including website and software charges, travel, administration, wages and processing fee). As a result the face value of the tickets will not equate with the amount charged. Any income, which remains at the end of this project, once all costs have been paid, will be used by the ARU to assist in the development of Rugby in Australia.
5. ARU reserves the right to alter conditions and ticket prices in direct response to information provided by the respective Host Unions. This also applies to exchange rate fluctuations which may be utilised to update prices daily.
6. Failure to comply with all stated terms and conditions, as well as booking instructions will result in tickets being reallocated without notice.
7. Payment will be accepted via Visa or MasterCard only. Cash, cheques, or other credit cards cannot be utilised. Only one credit card can be used per application.
8. Proof of Australian citizenship (by way of providing Australian passport number) will be required for your application. The applicant’s passport must be presented when collecting match tickets.
9. Tickets will be sold on-line and in real-time. Tickets will be allocated strictly in order of application, until sold out.
10. Applications will only be accepted via this website. Posted or faxed transactions cannot be processed.
11. Exact seating positions are not yet known or available.
12. It will not be possible to accept any cancellations for tickets ordered or confirmed. Ticket exchanges and refunds cannot be accepted.
13. It will be the applicant's responsibility to communicate any change of personal details (including address, email, phone, fax etc) from that shown on your original application.
14. The Host Union of each Test allocates tickets for overseas Test matches to Australian Rugby Union. The ARU has no control over location of seating and the number of seats allocated to it.
15. It will not be possible to issue replacement tickets, if lost, under any circumstances.
16. It will not be possible to enter into correspondence on individual applications and ticket quality. All details are fully explained on this website (refer to Frequently Asked Questions).
17. Applicants must abide by all the Terms and Conditions imposed by the respective Host Union in relation to their tickets.
18. Tickets not collected on the stipulated days will be placed on sale by the Australian Rugby Union. If the ARU is able to sell these tickets your credit card will be refunded the appropriate amount, less an AUD $10 administration charge (per individual match ticket). If the tickets are not able to be on-sold by the ARU, refunds will not be possible.
