The RaboDirect Rebels have made two changes to their side that beat the Western Force, with James O'Connor playing flyhalf at the expense of Angus Roberts, and Cooper Vuna returning to the starting XV on the wing.

Lachlan Mitchell returns from injury to the bench, joining Angus Roberts.

The Rebels have resisted the return of Gareth Delve from injury, with a bye following this Saturday night's match.

RaboDirect Rebels Head Coach, Damien Hill, has showed faith in the Rebels side from last week's 30-23 bonus point victory at nib Stadium.

"It was a solid performance in Perth and and we feel was have a very balanced side with James at 10 this weekend," said Hill

"Angus is continuing to develop at this Club as is Jordy Reid and Nic Stirzaker. They are all part of a new brigade of talent coming through this Rebels program.

"The team has a wonderful opportunity to play in front of its Members, fans and wealth of supporters here at AAMI Park. Something I know the players will be looking forward to.

"This is a very spirited Southern Kings outfit with a great leader in Andries Strauss, we know what they are capable of."

"Many people close to the Kings would not have seen last weeks result against the Brumbies as a surprise."

The match will be part of the Victoria's 'Festival of Rugby' - the Melbourne Club Sevens Tournament will be held on Saturday at AAMI from 2:35pm, with the Dewar Shields eight top teams; Endeavour Hills, Footscray, Harlequins, Melbourne, Melbourne University, Moorabbin, Power House and Southern Districts.

$3000 will be awarded to the loudest and proudest supporters of their Club.

The Rebels will also host the state under 18s Schoolboys trial at Gosch's Paddock from 12.30pm, with Rebels Coaches attending and part of the selection process.

"This will be a wonderful opportunity for any person who follows sport to come along and be part of this 'Festival of Rugby', with the Melbourne Club 7's Tournament being played and our junior talent on display at Gosch's Paddock prior. It will also be a great opportunity to meet past and current players," said Hill.
