Sharni Williams joined the Australian Sevens ranks in 2011 after three years and a Rugby World Cup with the Australian Wallaroos.
Williams debuted for the Australian Women’s Sevens side at the inaugural IRB Women’s Sevens Challenge Cup in 2011 and went on to play in all but one of the side’s tournaments in 2012.
Named the ACT Rugby Rookie of the Year in 2008, Williams continued to develop her skills and was shortlisted as a player of the tournament at the 2010 Women’s Rugby World Cup.
