A butcher by trade, Allan Fa’alava’au impressed thoroughly during his first season with the Qantas Men’s Sevens side after being called up to the Las Vegas Sevens in 2012 as a result of injuries.
Still a teenager, Fa’alava’au impressed in his debut tournament, scoring a double in the Qantas Men’s Sevens Bowl quarter-final appearance against Brazil.
A former Australian Schools representative, Fa’alava’au continued to add to his already impressive resumee in 2012 when he was named to the Australian Under-20 side for the Junior World Championship in South Africa.
He has since become an integral member of the side and often takes on the pivotal role of scrumhalf.
