Walker joined the Australian Rugby ranks in August 2011 after an early exit from the NRL’s Gold Coast Titans due to injury.
After missing out on the start of the 2011-2012 HSBC Sevens World Series and missing his much anticipated debut at the inaugural Gold Coast Sevens – Fever Pitch tournament as a result of injury, Walker got the nod to make his debut in Hong Kong. He went on to play Hong Kong and Tokyo, scoring a double against Samoa to help lead Australia to a Cup final win in Tokyo.
A cousin of NRL player Ken Nagas, Walker is renowned for his electric pace and while his background is in Rugby League, he is excited to represent the Qantas Men’s Sevens.
Walker is also a member of a large family, with four brothers, four sisters and a daughter of his own.
