Brooke Anderson was the co-captain of the Australian side that won the inaugural Rugby Sevens Gold Medal at the Youth Olympics in Nanjing in August. The 18-year-old, just 11 days younger than her great mate and fellow Australian Women’s team member Tiana Penitani, won her first IRB World Series cap in China in March 2013.

Alongside Tiana Penitani, Brooke was one of two players to present an Australian Women’s Sevens jersey to the Sunrise (Channel Seven) team in September with David Koch, Sam Armytage, Natalie Barr and Mark Beretta adopting the side in the lead up to Rio 2016.
