The tournament in Nanjing was Tiana’s first in 14 months following a serious knee injury sustained at the Rugby Sevens World Cup in Moscow in June 2013.

At 17 years and 163 days old, Tiana became Australia's youngest-ever representative in either XVs or Sevens at a World Cup when she played for her country in Russia.
