After representing the Aussie Pearls in 2012, Nikki Etheridge earned the call up to join fraternal twin Gemma in the Qantas Women’s Sevens for the IRB Women’s Sevens World Series in Dubai.
The Etheridge twins have already represented Australia together as members of the Australian Touch Football team and play together at club level with the Toowoomba Bears.
Etheridge’s first taste of Sevens came at the Noosa International Sevens where she impressed enough to be named to the Aussie Pearls development team for Fiji’s Coral Coast Sevens.
She made her debut for Australia in Dubai and has so far represented her country in every tournament in the 2013 calendar, including Rugby World Cup Sevens in Moscow.
RWC Sevens caps: 1 (2013)
