A member of the Australian side that won the Touch Football World Cup in 2007, Alicia Quirk had never played Rugby Union before joining the Australian Sevens squad.
Alicia’s first representative duties in Rugby were with the Australian Pearls development side, before earning her place in the Qantas Women’s Sevens for the IRB Women’s Sevens Challenge Cup in London in 2012.
She is currently studying physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University, Albury, and speaks English, Japanese and French.
Quirk is also cousins with popular Australian musician Kram, drummer of the band Spiderbait.
Alicia is unquestionably the fittest player in the current Women's Sevens set-up.
