Originally from Tokoroa in New Zealand, Amy Turner represented both the New Zealand Maori Sevens and the New Zealand Touch Football teams before crossing the ditch.
The utility earned her first call up to the Qantas Women’s Sevens at an IRB Sevens World Series event for the Houston leg of the 2012-2013 IRB Women’s Sevens series.
One of the most underrated players on the circuit, Amy was a member of the squad that won the Dubai and Sao Paulo legs in the 2013-14 IRB Women’s Sevens World Series. She played a pivotal role as Australia won the London leg of the World Series in May 2015.
