Australian Rugby Union has made NSW Waratahs Bernard Foley and Matt Lucas available to their Super Rugby provine to face the British & Irish Lions in Sydney this weekend.

Both players were named earlier this month in the Australian Men’s Sevens side bound for Rugby World Cup Sevens 2013 in Moscow, which takes place from 28-30 June.

The pair have been training with the Australian Men’s Sevens since the team assembled in camp in Casuarina on Monday.

They will join the Waratahs tomorrow, Thursday 13 June, to prepare for their match against the British & Irish Lions and will re-join the Australian Men’s Sevens squad next Tuesday, 18 June.

Queensland Red’s flyer Luke Morahan has also departed the Australian Men’s Sevens squad, having been called into Qantas Wallabies camp earlier this week as injury cover for Joe Tomane.

A decision on whether or not Morahan will be replaced for Rugby World Cup Sevens 2013 will be made in the coming weeks.

The Australian Men’s Sevens depart for Rugby World Cup Sevens 2013 on 20 June.
