USA Sevens Tournament Director, Dan Lyle, said: "The USA Sevens continues to grow year on year and we are delighted that rugby fans in so many countries will be watching the action in Las Vegas over the weekend. Our ticket pre-sales are up 20 per cent on last year so we're expecting viewing records at the stadium and around the world."

IRB Sevens Manager, Beth Coalter, said: "After all the drama and excitement of Wellington last weekend, I think everyone is looking forward to the action here in Vegas. We've had four different Cup winners at the first four rounds of the Series this season, and I don't think many people would bet against another here in this toughest of seasons."

Squads declared for USA Sevens

The coaches of all 16 international men's sides have declared their final squads of 12 for the USA Sevens in Las Vegas on 8-10 February, round 5 of the HSBC Sevens World Series.

Among the team news, New Zealand will have to make do without their captain and vice-captain at the Sam Boyd stadium. Skipper DJ Forbes was withdrawn with Kurt Baker before the team left New Zealand, but Lote Raikabula has also been replaced while in the States. Wales captain Rhys Shellard has also been ruled out.
