The IRB has confirmed the pool draw for round 7 of the HSBC Sevens World Series, the Tokyo Sevens on 31 March - 1 April 2012.

The draw was made live on television before the Cup final of the Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens, the sixth round of the 2011/12 season, won by Fiji.

As Hong Kong champions, Fiji top pool A at the Prince Chichibu Memorial Ground but they face a tough trio of matches against England, France and hosts, Japan.

New Zealand reached their fifth Cup final of the Series in Hong Kong and, as runners-up, head Pool B and face matches against great rivals Australia, USA and Hong Kong.

Argentina were drawn top of Pool C and they face matches against Wales, Kenya and Russia.
