Jake White to open Darwin Sevens

Brumbies Head Coach Jake White will visit Darwin to help launch the Hottest 7’s tournament on Friday, 20 January.

The Hottest 7’s runs this weekend, 20-22 January at Rugby Park in Darwin.

The tournament will be launched with a special lunch at the Darwin Turf Club from 12.30pm, Friday. White is guest speaker for the afternoon.

White will be available for comment and photographs just prior to the lunch at 12pm.

The Hottest 7’s will lead to the Brumbies first trial match of the year against the Western Force at Rugby Park, Darwin on 4 February.
 

Anzac Day and the Australian Rugby Sevens program
Saturday represents 100 years of the landing of ANZAC troops at Gallipoli in 1915. While our Australian Men's Sevens team will travel to Canberra to attend the Anzac Dawn Service on 25 April, the Women's side will have the opportunity to commemorate 100 years of ANZAC spirit when they attend Camp Gallipoli at Sydney's Centennial Park.
