Just as racegoers frock up for a day at the Spring Carnival, Rugby Sevens fans love to don fancy dress to ensure the action away from the field is just as eye catching as what’s happening on the pitch.

Spectators at the International Rugby Sevens Adelaide are typically one of the most creative crowds around the world with their colourful, themed outfits.

From the cast of Avatar to 101Dalmatians, nurses to vikings and of course no party would be complete without Batman and Catwoman - you can expect to see all types milling around the beautiful Adelaide Oval on April 2-3.

Not only will you turn heads with your fancy dress, you’ll also have the chance to win a share of $4,000 in the Adelaide Sevens - Dress to Impress - competition.

All you need to do is get spotted by the official Dress to Impress photographers and strike your best pose for your chance to win.

There are two individual categories – Best Dressed Bloke and Best Dressed Gal – and the daily winner will receive $500.  The daily winners of the Best Dressed Group category will receive $1,000.
