MICHAEL FOLEY joined the Australian Wallabies coaching staff after a stellar international career as a player, spanning six seasons at Test level, and then as an Assistant Coach at Bath in England.
One of Australia’s most capped front row forwards, Foley moved straight into a coaching role at Bath after finishing his playing career in 2001, where he linked up with former Australian coach John Connolly in 2003.
A member of the victorious 1999 Rugby World Cup team, Foley was also a member of the 2001 Wallaby squad to defeat the British & Irish Lions and, despite being born in Sydney, played his senior rugby with Queensland, making his state debut in 1991 on the Reds tour of Argentina.
