Australia's Choice Wallaby of the Year

For the first time, Rugby fans have the chance to vote for the Qantas Wallabies player they believe has been the best and most consistent across the 2007 Rugby World Cup and 2008 Bundaberg Rum Rugby Series.

Players voted at the end of each match on their team mates’ performance, with player votes tallied from the first Rugby World Cup match in 2007 to the Qantas Wallabies v All Blacks Test in Brisbane on Saturday 13 September 2008.

The player who receives the most votes from his team-mates will take out the 2008 John Eales Medal, which will be announced on Thursday 23 October.

Rugby fans will determine the winner of Australia’s Choice – 2008 Wallaby of the Year, with the top five ranked players in the running for the John Eales Medal, nominated for the Award.

The winner of both Awards will be announced at the John Eales Medal presentation on Thursday 23 October 2008. Please note that we only allow one vote per email account.
