The equal most capped in the 2007 squad (11 caps at the start of season), Ormsby first pulled on the gold Wallaroo jersey in the 1997 Test against USA. She also appeared in the 2002 World Cup in Barcelona. The sixth all time highest point scorer for Australia (21 points).
