The Wallabies’ top try-scorer in 2006, MARK GERRARD added four Test caps in 2007. A gifted athlete with a powerful boot, he provides reliability and versatility across the back three and has been a regular for the Wallabies since the 2005 Spring Tour.
1999-2000: Represented the Australian Schoolboys and Australian Under 19s after graduating from Narrabeen Sports High.
2001-2002: Was the first Australian player to be signed straight out of school to a Super 12 contract, but played only one match for NSW during those two years before moving to the Brumbies.
2003: Joined the Brumbies and played in all 11 of their Super 12 matches as well as being selected for the Australia A tour of Japan.
2004: Scored an unprecedented hat trick of tries in the Super 12 Final and was selected in his first Wallaby squad before being struck down with a hamstring injury on the eve of his Test debut.
2005: Made his long awaited Test debut against Italy in Melbourne before finishing the season on the Wallabies right wing.
2006: Was the Wallabies leading try scorer with seven tries from 11 Tests and was trialled at flyhalf against Ospreys and Ireland A on the Spring Tour.
2007: Earned his 50th Super Rugby cap for the Brumbies against the Hurricanes in Wellington and recorded his ninth Test try against South Africa at Telstra Stadium in Sydney.
