ADAM FREIER proved once again during the 2007 season that there is hardly a more tenacious competitor in Australian Rugby. After earning just eight caps in four years of Test rugby, he played all seven Tests for the Wallabies in 2007.

2000-2001: Signed with the Brumbies where he made his state debut against Queensland as well as captaining the Australian Under 21s team.

2002: Made his Super 12 debut with the Brumbies and capped off his first year of professional rugby by making his Test debut against Argentina on the opening match of the Spring Tour. He started in two of the remaining three Tests on the tour.

2003: Signed with the Waratahs and was selected in the Wallabies winter squad, earning a further two Test caps during the Tri Nations.

2004: Played every Super 12 match and captained the Waratahs on their development tour of Argentina.

2005: After starting in seven out of 12 matches for the Waratahs he made a return to Test rugby as a replacement in the Tri Nations match against New Zealand in Auckland.

2006: Celebrated his 50th Super Rugby cap and won the Mathew Burke Cup for Waratahs Player of the Year before earning selection in the Wallabies squad and starting the second Test against England at hooker. A foot injury suffered during the match curtailed his winter Test campaign.

2007: Captained the Waratahs on seven occasions after regular skipper Phil Waugh was injured early in the season, before returning to the Wallabies and playing all seven winter Tests, twice in the starting XV.

Off Field: Adam previously ran a small business and is currently working with charities and the community
