Stephen Hoiles is hoping to force his way back into the Wallaby 22 after snatching a place in the Spring Tour squad with an outstanding APC tournament for the Brumbies.
Hoiles, one of the senior members in the Brumbies APC squad after switching from the Waratahs following the 2006 Super 14 season, played a leading hand in helping the Brumbies to the one-off title.
After making his Test debut on the 2004 Spring Tour, Hoiles' 2005 season was lost to a season-ending knee injury on the eve of the first Test of the winter.
He was then overlooked for the 2006 winter Test series after playing predominantly from the reserves bench for the Waratahs during the Super 14.
Hoiles offers versatility across the three back row positions and is also an established lineout option.
