Anstee began work in the Australian Sevens program following impressive stints with Sydney Rugby club, Eastwood. Despite growing up as an outside back, Anstee is growing as a loose forward, benefiting greatly from work with the Australian Uniroos 7s and Australia.
Debuting at the 2017 Sydney Sevens, Anstee immediately made an impression on the World Series Circuit, scoring a three minute hat trick, and then backing up later in 2017 with the rest of the Aussie Sevens squad who brought home the silverware in Germany at the Oktoberfest Sevens. With Anstee scoring a try to help bring the team into their 40-7 victory over Fiji in the final, adding to his current career total of 60 points.
