Ben Batger comes to the Waratahs from a stint with Air New Zealand Cup semi finalists Hawkes Bay, signing a two year deal to complete a circle that began with his winning selection for the Waratahs development tour of Argentina in 2004. A Brumbies Super 14 contract saw him withdraw from the trip, the talented wing/fullback playing all nine of his Super 14 matches for the Canberra-based outfit over 2005-06.
