Born in Yangebup, Western Australia Shanice Parker says she was born into playing Rugby Union and Rugby League. Shanice Parker joined the Aussie Women's Sevens squad in October of 2016, after winning Gold with the Aussie Girl's Sevens team in 2015 at the Youth Olympics. Parker has also represented her state in bith OzTag and Touch Football. Parker's Mother was part of the Jillaroos World Cup team in 2000, and Shanice has followed in her footsteps being named in the 2016 Jillaroos training squad. Now in 2017 Shanice laces up the boots for the University of Tasmania.
Shanice joined the Australian squad in October 2016, after having been a part of Australian Girls Sevens team that took home a gold medal at the 2015 Youth Commonwealth Games.
Parker is no stranger to representative sport having played OzTag and Touch Football for her state, and making the Jillaroos rugby league squad in 2015.
Her speed, footwork and contact skills make her a valuable asset to the squad, and as the only Western Australian in the group she is passionate about inspiring more WA girls to play rugby.
