Hometown: Sydney, NSW
Matthew Hood may be short in stature, but his work rate, speed and tenacity is second to none. Hailing from Newington College in Sydney where his Rugby journey began, Hood has continued to develop his game in the Australian Sevens squad.
Outside of Rugby, Hood is an entrepreneur, where he has a strong focus on his small business efforts which he balances between his training and playing commitments.
