Kane Douglas returned to Australian Rugby in 2015 following a short stint with Leinster in Ireland. His aggression in defence made him an invaluable member of the Rugby World Cup campaign. His Rugby World Cup final was cruelly ended in the 14th minute, after he ruptured his ACL. Douglas’s international career has been a stop-start one, with the 26-year-old overlooked in, 2014, before being recalled to the Wallabies fold and back into Super Rugby by Qantas Wallabies coach Michael Cheika. Cheika coached Douglas when the lock played in the 2014 Super Rugby Championship-winning Waratahs side.
