Jordy Reid's 2015 season saw him feature on 10 occasions for the Rebels as the exciting young back rower re-committed to the club until at least the end of 2017. Reid passed 20 Rebel caps in the process and continued to develop his reputation as one of the team's promising core of players tasked with helping the club push higher on the table in the coming years. Reid's fearless attack of the ball and relentless tackling ability are among the highlights of his game, and he is part of a highly-competitive back row unit, competing with the likes of Sean McMahon, Scott Fuglistaller and Colby Fainga'a for a spot in the side. This has helped drive Reid's continued development; the competition for places demanding such a high standard of training and match play of all of the back rowers if they wish to retain their place in the team. He made his debut for the Rebels in 2013, while he has also played regularly for the Melbourne Unicorns in the Dewar Shield after switching from Harlequin where he played a key role in the 2013 premiership.
