Hailing from a farm in Panuara in Country NSW, Grace Hamilton credits her brother with teaching her everything she knows about rugby. Her father meanwhile is a huge proponent of country rugby having been an active volunteer, referee, coach and administrator for the last forty years. Growing up, Hamilton excelled in netball and athletics and only started playing rugby while on a university exchange in the USA. Since joining the Sydney team in 2014, Hamilton has been one of the consistent performers. In 2016 she was selected in the Wallaroos squad to tour New Zealand, bringing some country toughness with Sydney experience to the squad.
Hamilton was selected to represent Australia at the International Women's Rugby Series in New Zealand.
