The Australian Sevens received some expert tuition from AFL Premiership winning Sydney Swan Leo Barry today.
Winning possession at the kickoff is a crucial part of Sevens Rugby, so coach Glen Ella turned to the Swans to help improve his players' ability to take the high ball.
"Winning possession at the kickoff can be the difference between winning and losing a game, so it is obviously a very important part of Sevens," Ella said.
"It is great that the Swans have offered the services of a bloke who is pretty handy at these skills to help us in this area."
The Australian Sevens could not ask for more qualified teachers. Leo Barry took the final mark of the AFL Grand Final that sealed their victory.
The Australian Sevens team will depart for the Dubai Sevens on Sunday.
