If facing the Crusaders wasn't already a formidable task, the Brumbies will have to do it without their influential number seven - David Pocock ruled out with a calf injury.

The Brumbies will be without David Pocock when they host the Crusaders on Saturday, the star flanker ruled out with a calf injury.

The loss of Pocock, who has returned to Super Rugby in scintillating form, has forced a backrow reshuffle.

Blake Enever will start at blindside flanker, with Tom Cusack shifting to openside to fill the hole left by Pocock.

The remainder of the forward pack remains unchanged but there is another shift in the centres, Andrew Smith earning the nod at 12 ahead of Kyle Godwin, who has been left out of the 23 altogether.David Pocock will not line up for the Brumbies on Saturday. Coach Dan McKellar has made four changes to his bench unit, Faalelei Sione coming in ahead of Nic Mayhew, Ben Alexander earning a nod ahead of Mees Erasmus, Lolo Fakaosilea returning to the 23 in front of Michael Oakman-Hunt and Andy Muirhead taking Smith's spot.
