Wests Scarborough have claimed their second straight Pindan Premier Grade title, edging out Associates 27-15.

The reigning premiers scored 27 unanswered points in a breathtaking 60 minutes, with Associates flying out of the barriers to open up a 15-0 lead.

Soaks fans had Michael Hardwick and Brendan Owen to thank for that, the former scoring from a superb cutout pass and the latter dancing his way through defenders to find the line.

Wests put some runs on the board through a Ryan Burge try just over halfway through the first term, the initial break created by a big run from star flanker Kane Koteka.

Wally Koteka then added a penalty for the reigning premiers, narrowing the margin to 15-10 at half time.

Josh Tinomana then levelled things up upon resumption, with Wests in complete control with 30 to play in the second term.

They finally put their noses in front when Jordan Luke touched down in the left hand corner, with 20 left on the clock.

Nick McLennan put the final nail in the coffin, barging over to seal victory and the Pindan Premier Grade title for Wests once again.
