Following one of the Qantas Wallabies' most successful years in 2015, Rugby fans will have plenty of opportunities to see their Wallabies heroes in action this year.

For the first time ever, Australia will host England in a three-Test battle for the Cook Cup, which is currently in England’s trophy cabinet. After the emotion-charged encounter between the Qantas Wallabies and the host nation in last year’s Rugby World Cup, where Australia stormed to a resounding 33-13 victory, both teams will have something to prove this year.

The anticipation for this series will be heightened, as it marks the first time rival coaches and ex-team mates Michael Cheika and Eddie Jones will go head to head from the sidelines.

The games will be held at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane (8pm, Saturday 11 June), AAMI Park in Melbourne (8pm, Saturday 18 June) and Allianz Stadium in Sydney (8pm, Saturday 25 June) - all premier rectangular stadiums where the atmosphere in the stands promises to be electrifying. Tickets will go on sale in April.

Following this, the Qantas Wallabies will attempt to defend their Rugby Championship title and break the All Blacks’ stranglehold on the coveted Bledisloe Cup, when The Rugby Championship returns in August. After a thrilling victory against New Zealand in Sydney last year, and a valiant World Cup campaign, the men in gold have the Rugby Championship and Bledisloe titles firmly in their sight.

The 2016 Rugby Championship will kick off at ANZ Stadium in Sydney at 8pm on Saturday 20 August when the Wallabies take on the All Blacks. This will be followed by matches against the Springboks at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane (8pm, Saturday 10 September) and against Argentina nib Stadium in Perth (8pm, Saturday 17 September).

Australian Rugby Union COO Rob Clarke said: “Fans can expect some incredible Rugby from these matches. On paper it is arguably one of our biggest years of Rugby on home soil. Never before has England played a three-Test series in  Australia.”

“We are delighted to be hosting such world-class teams in some of Australia’s best rugby venues.

“With the Wallabies currently ranked number 2 in the world, and demand for tickets already high, fans are urged to get in quick to secure their seats.”

A range of exclusive onsite and offsite corporate hospitality options tailored for corporate groups or small groups of friends are also available. Visit rugby.com.au/hospitality for more information.

For an extra special Wallabies experience, fans can book through the ARU’s licensed hospitality and tour operator, We Love Rugby (weloverugby.com).
