Qantas Australian Sevens star Con Foley has warned his side they face a tricky opening day on Day One of the penultimate leg of the 2013/14 HSBC sevens World Series season.
Australia departed from Sydney International Airport on Monday night and have drawn hosts Scotland, Spain and the United States as they seek to progress from Pool D.
Should the Aussies finish top of the pool, then they will likely face either Series-chasing New Zealand or South Africa in the Cup Quarter-Finals.
But the 21-year-old, who will be playing in his 25th World Series event in Glasgow, isn't looking beyond the first day of the event.
"The likes of the USA, Scotland and Spain will be gunning for us and we've got to be on our game. We don't need any slip ups in our pool rounds. This will then set us up for the Quarters and Semis and we'll take it from there," said Foley.
"The USA are a really good side and have given us a fair bit of trouble when we have played them. They've got some really tall guys and are very athletic so we're definitely going to have to be on our game against them.
"Scotland are going to be tough and they'll obviously have the backing of their home crowd behind them. We've played them a lot of times this year. They know how we play, we know how they play. It's going to be a slug out against them.
"It's the last two legs of the year so everyone - including Spain - will want to finish their season on a high."
Australia sit fifth in this season's HSBC Sevens World Series, 17 points behind fourth placed England, and Foley is anticipating a strong end to the season for Michael O'Connor's charges.
"We're really looking forward to the trip to Europe. We had a good tournament in London last year where we finished second and a Plate Final the year before so it's a trip we really enjoy.
"We started well at the beginning of the year, had a bit of a lull and now we're starting to come good.
Hopefully it will all come together for us in the last two legs of the season."
