Australian Rugby Union’s new domestic competition, the Buildcorp National Rugby Championship, continues tonight with a match between the People Culture Strategies Greater Sydney Rams and the University of Canberra Vikings, which will be broadcast live and exclusive on FOX SPORTS.

Thursday 28 August

People Culture Strategies Greater Sydney Rams v UC Vikings

Queensland Country will host NSW Country Eagles in their first match of the Buildcorp NRC at Bond University on the Gold Coast

Entry to the match will be free of charge thanks to hosts Bond University

The battle of the two country sides will see 50 years of Rugby history enter a new chapter as the first clash between the boys from the bush in the Buildcorp NRC.

The match will be streamed live at www.redsrugby.com.au and via ARU TV on YouTube

Sydney Stars v Melbourne Rising

Australian Under 20s captain Sean McMahon makes his way into the starting side for the Melbourne Rising after a successful campaign with the Australian Men’s Sevens Commonwealth Games side.

Property Club Perth Spirit v Brisbane City

The Perth Spirit will look to make it two from two on Sunday when they take on Brisbane City in their first home game at the University of Western Australia.

Queensland Reds lock James Horwill will make his Buildcorp NRC debut, bolstering the Queensland side in the forwards with his experience.

Qantas Wallaby squad member, Kyle Godwin will play his first competitive Rugby match since injuring his knee in round 13 of the Asteron Life Super Rugby competition.

Godwin will be looking to impress Qantas Wallabies head coach Ewen McKenzie before the Wallabies take on South Africa in Perth.

Note: North Harbour Rays have a bye in Round 2.
