In Game seven of the tournament, NSW I shot out of the blocks early against a valiant Western Australian Schools side and never looked back.

The 12 try affair highlighted the experience and depth of the top NSW side as they ran in 76 points against WA.

WA had passages of solid play but it wasn’t enough to halt a rampant NSW side on the day.

Queensland I took this same spirit of top quality execution into their clash against the young men from ACT Schools. The top Queensland side scored 55 points and prevented the ACT from scoring any points in game eight of the Championship.

Queensland II had a tough challenge against the Victorians with the southern state side never taking a backward step against their Queensland opponents. Queensland II won the day however with their forwards providing a solid platform for success, with the final score 34-18.

In the last match of the day NSW II took on the combined States side. NSW II, showed its depth across a variety of positions as the young men in blue accounted for Combined States 45-17.

The Championship continues at St Ignatius College Riverview in Sydney.
