National Women's Championship
The 2008 National Women's Championship will be held this year at Tallebadgera Active Recreation Centre and Palm Beach Currumbin Rugby Club on the Gold Coast from 1-4 July. Eight teams will contest the event, which involves three matches over four days.

Following the championship final on Friday 4 July, a presentation luncheon will be held at Currumbin RSL. At this time the Paper To Paper Wallaroo squad will be announced to play New Zealand in a two-test match home-series in October.
The Paper To Paper Australian Womens 7s team will also be announced to contest the Oceania World Cup 7s Qualifier in Samoa In July and the African Cup 7s tournament in South Africa in August.
