Western Force

The Western Force are based in Perth and competed in the expanded Super 14 tournament for the first time in 2006.

In its first year, the Perth team played its home matches at Subiaco Oval, while stage two of an upgrade to Members Equity Stadium took place. The upgrade will include a new two-tier grandstand incorporating new team facilities and new corporate facilities and will increase the capacity of the Stadium to 22,000. After the upgrade, the Perth team will play its home matches at Members Equity Stadium, ultimately in time for the 2007 Super 14 season.
