Indigenous Duwor from Lloyd McDermott Rugby Development Team

The Lloyd McDermott Rugby Development Team treated a special audience to the Waa-Widjie-Mah Duwor at NAIDOC Week celebrations.

"Waa-Widjie-Mah" - is a Bidhala Dambari (Gubbi Language) word; meaning Strong, Proud and Brave. The language in the chant describes the coastal Saltwater People and the inland freshwater people coming together as one and being strong, proud and brave.
