Sydney-born Victoria Latu is a dominant force on the field, with her trademark blonde ponytail emerging from her headgear. The powerful number eight was named Player of the Tournament at this year’s Buildcorp Women’s National Championships, scoring four tries including a stunning 50m solo effort during the competition. Following this accolade, the Parramatta Two Blues stalwart returned to her club competition to win Most Valuable Player on the field in the Sydney Women’s Rugby grand final. A passion for rugby runs in Victoria’s family, her uncle George Latu played Rugby for Manu Samoa.
