Named the best player of the Buildcorp Women’s Championships for two consecutive years, Victoria Latu is both revered and feared by opponents. Known for her imperious ball running as much as her trademark blonde ponytail emerging from her headgear, Latu is looking forward to making her Wallaroos debut this year after being ruled out of the 2016 New Zealand tour due to a last-minute injury. A passion for rugby runs in Victoria’s family, her uncle George Latu played Rugby for Manu Samoa. Fun fact: despite being one of the toughest women on the field, she’s a little afraid of the dark.
Latu was selected to represent Australia at the International Women's Rugby Series in New Zealand.
