Nigel Ah Wong
Position Centre
Date of birth 30 May 1990
Height 193cm
Weight 102kg

Nigel Ah Wong has found a home in Canberra after his rugby journey stretched from Wellington across Australia and overseas. He made his Super Rugby debut with the Brumbies in 2015 against the Cheetahs and quickly showed great potential at elite level. A hard-running, big outside centre, Ah Wong has shown he’s no one trick pony, adding ball-play to his classy lines to make a formidable attacking threat. The Kiwi-born outside back has certainly been around the block, but after two strong seasons with the UC Vikings in the National Rugby Championship and the Tuggeranong Vikings in the John I Dent Cup, Ah Wong certainly looks at home in Brumbies colours. In 2016 the Brumbies will use Ah Wong as an outside centre who will push Wallaby, Tevita Kuridrani for a starting spot in the backline.
