After Australia won the women's rugby sevens at the Olympics in August 2016, Nicole Beck had the unique honour of being the first player to win the both the Rugby World Cup Sevens (Dubai in 2009) and an Olympic Gold Medal.
Nicole was also captain of the Australian side that won silver at the Pacific Games in July 2015 - she was handed the honour of being flag-bearer for the Australian team competing in Papua New Guinea.
Nicole combines her life as a professional Rugby Sevens player with being a mother to young daughter Sophie. She became an internet sensation after her miraculous try-saving tackle against England at the Women's XVs Rugby World Cup in 2010.
