Originally from Mitchell in Queensland’s Western Downs region, super-promising young flyhalf Mack Mason made his NRC and Country debut in 2015, returning to Brisbane and rugby after representing the Melbourne Storm in the NRL Under-20s competition throughout 2015.
With Cooper Cronk’s injury issues, Mason was often the champion halfback’s fill-in at Storm training, and he picked up all kind of tips and tricks about playmaking, and steering teams around from the Queensland State of Origin and Australian no.7. Mason put much of that knowledge into practice during the NRC, and for the Reds in the new Australian Under-20s competition in 2016.
Mack is a talented young Flyhalf with a no nonsense attitude to his Rugby. In the Super U20s Championship Mack was instrumental in Queensland’s backline dominance and with a handy boot, he can score your team points through the sticks when required.
