James Slipper has rapidly developed into one of the elite prop forwards in Australian Rugby, becoming Australia’s most-capped Test prop in 2015. In the first 2014 Test match against France, the Queensland captain became the fifth prop in Australian Rugby history to reach 50 Tests.One of the Reds’ best since making his debut in 2010, Slipper won the Pilecki Medal for Player’s Player of the year in 2013 and 2014, along with the People’s Choice, Spirit of the Reds Award and the Rugby Union Players’ Association Medal for Excellence in 2014. In April 2015, the 26-year-old agreed to a new three-year deal with the Queensland Reds and Australian Rugby through to the end of 2018. In September 2015 Slipper was selected as the Wallabies 83rd Captain, leading the side to a 47-10 victory over the USA in Chicago.
