a product of the Sunshine Coast Rugby Union Haydn Hirsimaki played both junior and senior Rugby for the Nambour Toads Rugby Club, and began his Queensland Premier Rugby career with the Sunshine Coast Stingrays. Haydn represented the Queensland Country Heelers while playing for the Stingrays and was part of the 2011 undefeated Country side that secured a 27-26 win over Brisbane City.
His brightest moment came in June 2013, when he represented Queensland and NSW Combined Country against the British & Irish Lions in Newcastle. From the very start of the NRC in 2014, Hirsimaki has been a stand-out contributor for Queensland Country.
