Despite veering from her rugby ambitions to pursue a potential Olympic Games journey as a boxer after impressing at an AIS draft camp, O’Neill is now well-placed to make her Wallaroos debut. The ACT flanker claimed two awards for her outstanding 2016 rugby season, the Helen Taylor Trophies for ACT Women’s Sevens and XVs player of the year.
