Gemma has made a miraculous recovery after suffering a serious knee injury in March this year. However, after undergoing successful LARS surgery, Gemma has made a full recovery to earn a dramatic late call-up for the Rio Olympics.

Gemma is a qualified Radiographer who hails from Tamworth but calls Toowoomba home. Gemma is equally at home as a forward or back.

Away from the Rugby field, Gemma’s sporting idol is Rafael Nadal. She loves nothing more than a good coffee and reading the newspaper. Gemma grew up on a farm and still spends a lot of weekends doing cattle work.
