Emma Tonegato scored seven tries in six games - including one in the Gold Medal match against New Zealand - at the 2016 Rio Olympics for Australia.

The 21-year-old outside back, who comes from a rugby league background, debuted for the Qantas Australian Women's side in the opening leg of the 2013-14 Sevens World Series in Dubai in November 2013.

Tonegato was named Player of the Tournament for the Atlanta leg of the Sevens World Series in April 2016 and a month later she was named in the 2015-16 Team of the Season by World Rugby. She is one of just two players on the series to score five tries in a single World Series match since the competition's inception.
